Dating back to the release of Stussy’s legendary Nike Dunk Low “Cherry”, the Stussy and Nike connection has proven to be a dynamic duo and a match made in heaven. From Air Max 95s to Nike Blazers, Stussy and Nike make two peas in a heat pod, delivering more Ws than the Bulls in the ‘90s.
In 2003, Nike hit the sneaker community with cutting-edge designs and dropped the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2. On April 3, 2020, Stussy teamed up with Nike to release a refreshing clothing capsule that included crewnecks, sweats, totes, long sleeves, and two new pairs of the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2. Stussy put a fresh new spin on the 17-year-old silhouette, decorating both pairs in a rare colorway: “Pure Platinum” and “Fossil”. The colorways uncover every single detail within these kicks and allow each shoe to tell its own story. Now check out this video to catch some dope designs of a fire sneaker.
This Spridion Cage 2 consists of a mesh upper with Pure Platinum overlays and a black Swoosh. A caged Zoom Air unit, Stussy branding on the heel and toe, and white sole completes the design. These sneakers released in April of 2020 and retailed for $160.
