In partnership with StockX and Sotheby's, one collector sold their complete collection of Supreme skate decks for $800,000.

Late last year, several collectors came together to present complete collections of Supreme accessories and Supreme skate decks at what was called the Inferno Show in LA’s Jason Vass Gallery. It was expected that soon after the show each collector would sell their respective collections and last week, one of them did. Ryan Fuller, of Laguna Beach, California, sold a full collection of every Supreme skate deck ever made for $800,000. That’s right, that’s 5 zeros.

The collection sold via an online auction on Sotheby’s site, which was open from January 10th through January 25th. Until Friday, there had only been one bid made on the collection; $500,000, the minimum. As the end of the auction approached, more bids started creeping in, finally settling at a cool $800,000. StockX’s role in the process came in the form of what we do better than anyone else, authentication. Before the original Inferno Show in California, StockX authenticated every board in the collection. Prior to the final sale, the boards were shown to the public again as an installment at our pop-up location in NYC.
