Music. Music with soul: Motown, early hip-hop, and neo-soul. And unity, working together.
Most overrated?
Jokes. Insulting humor. Bullying. The same people that bully are the same people that cry for help. It’s using humor to be abusive rather than joy.
Most underrated?
Compassion and Neo-soul. Compassion is underrated because we live in a world now where we judge everyone from a standard of perfection, so having a little care for somebody sticks out a lot.
What are you most excited about, right now?
New Big Sean music. 1st I’m excited for the city of Detroit and second is Big Sean’s new music. It’s just the time for Detroit. The overall narrative for Detroit is just going to change. People still talk down on Detroit. So it feels great to try and help change that narrative
What’s next for you?
More music. A book. Writing a motivational book.
