To close out the month, Jordan Brand introduces a new AJKO and launches their inaugural collaboration with Billie Eilish, plus Nike expands their women’s Nike Dunk collection. Find out what other new releases are coming your way in this latest installment of The Drop List.
Air Jordan 1 KO Storm Blue
Jordan Brand is ending the month with a knockout, adding the Storm Blue colorway to the Air Jordan 1 KO, also known as the AJKO.
In a traditional AJKO canvas fabrication, the Air Jordan 1 KO Storm Blue features a white upper with Storm Blue overlays and black Swooshes. From there, a matching woven Nike Air tongue label and sole completes the retro design.
The Air Jordan 1 KO Storm Blue releases on Wednesday, September 29th for $140 on the SNKRS app and at select Jordan retailers.
Air Jordan 1 AJKO Billie Eilish (W)
Jordan has teamed up with pop icon Billie Eilish to release two signature Air Jordan Retro silhouettes. The first of the two, the women’s Air Jordan 1 AJKO Billie Eilish (W), draws a resemblance to one of Eilish’s most well-known hairstyles and motifs.
Like Billie’s hair during her rise to stardom, the Air Jordan 1 KO Billie Eilish beams neon green in a tonal fashion throughout the canvas upper and sole. Further customizing the design, the woven tongue label features a Blohsh, a gender-neutral abstract stick-figure of a human that Eilish has adopted as one of her emblems.
The women’s Air Jordan 1 AJKO Billie Eilish (W) releases on Monday, September 27th on Billie Eilish’s website and again on Thursday, September 30th for $140 on the SNKRS app, retailing at $140.
Air Jordan 15 Billie Eilish (W)
In contrast to the vibrant Air Jordan 1 KO Billie Eilish, the women’s Air Jordan 15 Billie Eilish (W) adds a neutral-toned option to the blockbuster collaboration.
Arriving in all-beige, the Air Jordan 15 Billie Eilish features a paneled leather upper with exposed stitching, mesh tongues, and a ribbed heel wrap. Similar to the AJKO, Eilish’s Blohsh emblem appears on the inside of the tongue.
Retailing at $190, the women’s Air Jordan 15 Billie Eilish releases on Monday, September 27th on Billie Eilish’s website.
Nike Dunk High Aluminum (W)
If you are a fan of the Nike Dunk Low UNC but wished for a high-top iteration, the women’s Nike Dunk High Aluminum (W) might be the Dunk for you.
Arriving with a smooth white leather upper with Aluminum overlays, the women’s Nike Dunk High Aluminum (W) offers a comparable color-blocked look to the UNC in a high-cut silhouette. Like all Nike Dunks, signature star traction on the sole beneath the toe.
The women’s Nike Dunk High Aluminum (W) releases on Thursday, September 30th for $110 on the SNKRS app and in select stores.
Air Jordan 5 Shattered Backboard
After a history of appearing on popular Jordan 1s, the renowned Shattered Backboard colorway makes its way to the Jordan 5 for the Air Jordan 5 Shattered Backboard.
Like other Shattered Backboard releases, white, orange, and black are prominent in the design’s color-blocking. Instead of utilizing signature Jordan 5 netted inserts on the quarter and tongue, the Shattered Backboard opts for a translucent mesh that also appears on the collar. Metallic shark-tooth details on the midsole and a semi-translucent outsole add the finishing touches.
The Air Jordan 5 Shattered Backboard releases on Saturday, October 2nd for $190 on the SNKRS app and at select retailers.
Nike Dunk Low Championship Red
If your school colors include red and you are looking to show support, the Nike Dunk Low Championship Red will make any section a student section.
The Nike Dunk Low Championship Red features a classic color-blocked look with a Championship Red leather upper and white overlays. A woven Nike tongue label and matching sole keep the design cohesive, just like your unwavering school spirit.
The Nike Dunk Low Championship Red releases on Thursday, September 30th for $100 on the SNKRS app and at select retailers.
Nike Dunk High 1985 Black Acid Wash
Following last month’s Nike Dunk High 1985 Red Acid Wash, Nike continues to explore bleach-inspired patterns with the Nike Dunk High 1985 Black Acid Wash.
A pale Lemon Drop leather base creates a soft backdrop so that its black and white splotchy overlays rise to prominence on the upper of the Nike Dunk High 1985 Black Acid Wash. Additionally, a yellowed midsole and 80s-style Nike tongue tag give off an aged effect.
The Nike Dunk High 1985 Black Acid Wash releases on Tuesday, September 28th for $130 in the SNKRS app and at select stores.
