Air Jordan 4 A Ma Maniére
A Ma Maniére does it again. James Whitner’s A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand partner up for this luxury AJ 4 silhouette. The new Air Jordan 4 A Ma Maniére gives off royal vibes with its deeply rich Violet Ore and vintage cream tones. Sleek metallic pins, tonal mesh detailing and a quilted interior bring luxury with every step. And check out the special edition label on the insole, legitimizing your streetwear style. Rock these and add an essence of prestige to your fit.
Nike Air Max 1 ‘87 Burgundy Crush
Luxe in every step. The new Women’s Air Max 1 ‘87 Burgundy Crush is the ultimate avant-garde sneaker this fall. With alluring quality and premium leather, this AM1 dons an incredibly soft insole with metallic gold hardware in a bold merlot colorway. The crystal clear Air window is inspired by French architecture in celebration of sport and fashion.
Nike Dunk High x SOULGOODS ’90S
It’s all in the details with the new Nike Dunk High x SOULGOODS ‘90s. The details are in the design and storytelling. SOULGOODS, a Beijing-based brand, designs a ‘90s-themed Basketball sneaker with Chinese music inspirations. The olive and black tones paired with a stacked Swoosh are inspired by local rock album covers, while the butter-like nubuck and embroidered tiger take cues from East Coast hip-hop musicians.
Air Jordan 5 DJ Khaled Crimson Bliss
Another one. As part of the DJ Khaled “We The Best” Collection, this Air Jordan 5 takes the sneaker game to another level. Decorated in a pastel colorway with blue accents and a satin luxe look and feel, this sneaker looks almost too smooth to wear on solid ground. In addition, Khaled put his own touch on the classic with the “We The Best” logo on the heel and removed the upper pod for a slimmer fit. And don’t forget to flip the tongue—a hidden message reminds you to push through all the noise.
New Balance 990V2 White & Blue
Aimé Leon Dore’s creative director, Teddy Santis, continues to roll out some of New Balance’s general release colorways and the new New Balance 990V2 is no exception. This NB 990 comes in cool tones, and much like the recent 990 releases, has that vintage-esque finish to compliment any day-to-night look.
Editor’s Sneaker Pick of the Week
Air Jordan 1 Lost & Found
I don’t have to say much. IYKYK. Released last week, the Air Jordan 1 Lost & Found was the most sought-after sneaker release of the week. This classic AJ1 dropped in an OG Chicago colorway, but this iteration came with an added vintage look of pre-yellow accents, bringing a fabricated, worn vibe, which is a highly-coveted aesthetic in today’s sneaker culture. What I love most about the Lost & Found is Jordan’s ability to harken back to a time when shoes and shoe boxes were often lost in inventory stockrooms, only to be found again years later. This sneaker successfully captures what an old 1985 pair of AJ1s would have looked like if discovered over 30 years later.
