Nike Comme des Garçons Dunk Low (W)

Comme des Garçons is no stranger to adding new materials and design concepts to popular sneakers, not least of which is the Nike Dunk. In 2017, CDG’s men’s line, Comme des Garçons Homme Plus, released a Dunk High that featured an unconventional translucent upper primed for flexing patterned socks (but not so good for those dingy socks on their last limb). Two years later, Comme des Garçons’ women’s line took their turn on the Dunk and debuted the Nike Dunk Low Comme des Garçons (W) in their Spring / Summer 2020 runway show

The Nike Dunk Low Comme des Garçons (W) arrives in two variations, one featuring a tonal black colorway and the other featuring a printed graphic that depicts a “cdg” scattered text throughout the upper. Instead of following the traditional material selections of a Nike Dunk, this Dunk Low is composed of a tonal black transparent upper made of Nexkin with translucent and lightweight stretch-woven fabric and waxed laces. A black sole, black Swoosh, and leather heel tab completes this avant-garde design.

Both colorways of the Nike Dunk Low Comme des Garçons (W) will be available on May 14th exclusively on the Dover Street Market E-Flash site.

Japanese sneaker giant Atmos is (and always will be) an influential force on sneaker trends. Their pairing of colors, materials, and patterns has been appreciated across the world since the early 2000s when Nike CO.JP was first introduced. CO.JP is an ongoing collaboration between Nike and Atmos that delivers popular silhouettes in new colorways exclusively to Japan.

In 2013, Atmos and Nike joined forces to release the Nike Air Max 90 Atmos “Duck Hunter Camo”. Familiar Infrared color hits were combined with new, luxe materials on the Swoosh and most importantly, a green suede Duck Camo mudguard. The popularity of this Air Max 90 soared following its release, eventually positioning it as one of the most well-known AM 90 colorways. Seven years later, Nike has transformed this one-hit-wonder colorway into their own signature design concept. Air Max Day 2020 welcomed the release of the Air Max 90 Reverse Duck Camo, and now, the third shoe in Nike’s Duck Camo chronicles is set to release this week.

The Nike Air Max 90 Green Camo delivers everything that is essential to a Duck Camo Air Max 90. It features a vibrant Volt mesh upper with a light brown and grey suede Duck Camo mudguard and black rubber panels. A white midsole, Volt Air Max unit, and Volt and black outsole complete this new Duck Camo design.

The Nike Air Max 90 Green Camo releases May 15th on the SNKRS app and at other Nike stockists.

Prior to his second season as a Los Angeles Laker, Lebron James walked into the 2019 NBA Media Day rocking a never-before-seen colorway of the beloved Nike Lebron 7. It was unclear at the time whether these mismatched purple and yellow Lebron 7s were borrowed from each of their own respective colorways, or if they were intended to be worn together. Finally, we have the answer.

This Lebron 7 is the ultimate mismatched harmony. One shoe’s purple upper compliments the other shoe’s yellow upper. White leather mudguards and Swooshes, Flywire detailing, and a full-length speckled Air Max unit complete this Laker inspired design.

The Nike Lebron 7 Media Day arrives May 16th on the SNKRS app and at other Nike Basketball stockists.

After years of different variations and colorways, the original Ultra Boost that the world fell in love with is back! The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 Core White originally released in 2015 and sent shockwaves throughout the sneaker world as soon as Kanye laced up a pair following the news of his new partnership with adidas. adidas never imagined that this running shoe would be received as one of the coziest lifestyle shoes to date. Boost technology changed the game for adidas, and the Ultra Boost 1.0 was the first silhouette to deliver it to the masses.

As expected, this 2020 re-release features a Core White Primeknit upper with matching TPU lacing cages and interior detailing. A white Boost midsole, black outsole, and Ultra Boost branding on the heel completes the design for this much-anticipated restock.

The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 Core White is set to drop on May 17th on adidas.com and at select retailers.
