The Super Bowl matchup is set and while the Bengals are ready to battle the Rams, Panini is set to release 2021 Playoff Football just over a week ahead of the big game. LEGO is dropping a highly anticipated fan-designed Ideas set in the form of a 16-inch model globe, and Funko completes the week with a Stranger Things collaboration that includes a rare chase edition. 2021 Panini Playoff Football
The NFL Playoffs have been absolutely incredible with Matthew Stafford redefining his legacy, and Patrick Mahomes trying to solidify the Chiefs as the NFL’s next dynasty. With the Super Bowl just two weeks away we are finally getting 2021 Panini Playoff Football. This year’s set is composed of a 300 card base set including 100 rookie cards for young talents like Ja’Marr Chase, Mac Jones, Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, and more. Additionally, the set offers several color variation parallels, sticker autographs for rookies and veterans alike, and memorabilia cards such as the Turning Pro set that shows a dual image of rookies in their college and pro uniforms, with a piece of their pro jersey sewn into the card.
The 2021 Panini Playoff Hobby Box comes with eight cards per pack, and 12 packs per box, with each box averaging two autographs, one memorabilia card, four parallels, one Base Playoff Optichrome Parallel, 12 inserts, and 12 rookie cards. This is just a slight change from last year’s set which offered one more memorabilia card and eight more inserts.
The 2021 Panini Playoff Football Hobby Box will be released on February 2nd on the Panini America website as well as online and local trading card hobby shops.
LEGO Ideas The Globe Set 21332
The LEGO Ideas The Globe Set is the most recent release in the LEGO Ideas initiative where fans are able to submit their ideas to be voted upon by fans with the most popular models becoming a reality. This 2,585 piece LEGO globe includes printed names on each continent and ocean that can glow in the dark, and the globe can even spin on its stand.
The LEGO Ideas The Globe Set 21332 will be released on February 1st for a retail price of $200 on the LEGO website in addition to wherever LEGO products are sold.
Funko Soda Stranger Things Eleven
Funko is delivering their first-ever Stranger Things Funko Soda this week with the Funko Soda Stranger Things Eleven Figure. This collectible comes in a common and Chase figure. The common figure shows the show’s famous Eleven character donning a pink dress, holding a box of Eggo waffles as her nose bleeds while using her powers, a recognizable image from the first season. The Chase edition features Eleven wearing the same outfit, but shows her smiling and wearing the blonde wig that she is seen wearing after her makeover in season one episode four of Stranger Things.
The Funko Soda Stranger Things Eleven Figure drops on February 1st wherever Funko figures are sold for a retail price of $13.
