The Dior Saddle bag was brought to life in 1999 by then Dior creative director John Galliano at the fashion house’s Spring 2000 Ready to Wear Show, achieving “It” bag status in the years after its debut, before interest waned in the mid 2000s. In 2014, the Universe anointed Saint Beyonce with the task of bringing it back, and soon after she was photographed carrying it, interest picked up again.
