Tudor Black Bay M79350

StockX_ImageThe Tudor Black Bay M79350 represents the first execution of the chronograph complication within the hugely popular Black Bay family of dive watches from Tudor. Released in 2016, the Black Bay Chronograph makes a bold statement thanks to its steel bezel with tachymeter, screw-down pushers, and dual-register dial configuration. The M79350 has been met with mixed reactions, but there’s no denying Tudor has taken a strong approach to branching the Black Bay DNA into new directions. The Black Bay Chronograph wears slightly large at 41mm and a hefty case depth, but its size is managed will with the riveted bracelet. Inside beats a co-developed movement between Tudor and Breitling, making it very close to in-house, and the value is still there, with retail pricing at $5,050. Pre-owned examples trade in the neighborhood of $3,500.
