Not ones for being subtle, the Supreme We’re Back Tee lets the world know where the brand stands. The Fall/Winter 2019 season has brought a variety of apparel, but week 7 was all about the classic short-sleeved t-shirt. Nine new graphic tees were released, each standing out on their own. For the graphic here the streetwear brand kept it all in house. No collaborations or guest artists needed here. Never one to shy away from using profanity or imagery from their past, Supreme mixes together vibes that harken to video games cut scenes from year’s past.
As with most items, the foundation is a classic all-cotton Supreme t-shirt that we know and love. The mainstay piece is seen here dyed in COLOR, one of eight color options that were made. The body was the perfect background to contrast with the bold graphics added to the chest. There we see the graphic in a long panel with a background in a red to black fade. We see a ninja clad in a classic white shozuko outfitted all over. With only his hands and eyes showing the ninja is a pose to strike with his katana. Right underneath the image is the phrase “ we are back to fuck you up!”, and we believe it. The Supreme block logo finishes off the new design. With the phrase in small print you might not get too many dirty looks on the street.
