The White Photo Blue Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next% Flyknit features a breathable upper composed of white Flyknit underlaid with a midfoot cage for support. Asymmetrical lacing, a stretchy tongue, and elastic mesh over the arch provide a snug, secure fit. An oversized Nike Swoosh on the outer side panel is outlined in blue and matches the inside Swoosh and heel pull tab. Finally, this upper is enhanced with a rigid tonal heel counter with moderate padding to keep your heel locked down at speed.
The aspect of this running shoe that we find most impressive is the midsole, designed for ultimate cushioning and energy return. The combination of React foam in the heel with ZoomX foam, Zoom Air units, and a composite plate in the forefoot contributes to a propulsive stride. An outsole with pods of grippy blue rubber that are thicker at the heel completes this running shoe.
