Product Description
The 2013 Reebok Classic Leather Shoe Gallery Flamingoes at War was a collaboration that celebrated the 30th anniversary of the iconic running silhouette. Reebok created this epic shoe by teaming up with one of their Certified Network Accounts, Miami's Shoe Gallery (DJ Khaled's favorite boutique). In order to get the proper look, Shoe Gallery's owner Danny Waserstein asked Reebok to wash-out the camo to better match the toe. Waserstein had lived in the Miami area his whole life and never seen a flamingo in the wild, so he used that as the inpsiration for the Flamingoes at War Reebok Classic Leather. Just as the title of the shoe implies, the forefoot flaunts premium, soft, pink suede for the flamingoes that are occassionally seen the US Southeast. The rest of the shoe is coated with a supremely mean camo print of browns and dark greens in order to make the pink look tough. The brown leather inner lining, two-toned balck and brown midsole, unique dual-branded pink insoles, and gum outsole are excellent details on the Flamingoes at War that tie the entire theme together very well. The Reebok Classic Leather Flamingoes at War sold out everywhere it dropped and people have been wearing their pairs because they match with pretty much everything.
