The collaboration first made waves at Paris Fashion Week in 2018. The reimagined Blazer Mid features dual overlaid swooshes, double tongues, and exaggerated heel cups. The Snow Beach colorway nods to the past while keeping a modern aesthetic. The LD Waffle is a hybrid of sorts, combining the LDV and the Waffle Racer. The Pine Green colorway accentuates the classic runner feel with a contemporary vibe. More colorways of the Blazer Mid and Sacai Nike Waffle would follow the initial release. The joint project continued with a collection of athletic gear, including the Nike x Sacai Hooded Anorak. With the Nike x Sacai collab garnering plenty of mentions on "Best Of" lists, look for the alliance to drop more coveted items in the future.
