The Louis Vuitton Speedy was established in 1930. It first came out as the 3o cm size, which was called the “Express,” as a tribute to traveling. About a year later, LV came out with the Speedy 25, a mini version of the duffle, which was requested by actress and icon Audrey Hepburn. The Speedy 25 did not become popular until Hepburn requested the mini duffle design. Fast forward about 100 years later, and the classic LV Speedy is one of the most highly requested bags in the luxury handbag market until this day. For those of you who have never heard of the Speedy or simply want to know more about it – From every size the design comes to iconic limited edition speedy collaborations, here is our complete guide to the LV Speedy.

The Speedy comes in 4 different sizes:

Speedy 25 (Nano): 9.8” (L) x 7.5” (H) x 5.9” (W)

Speedy 30: 11.8” (L) x 8.3” (H) x 6.7” (W)

Speedy 35: 13.8” (L) x 9.1” (H) x 7.1” (W)

Speedy 40: 15.7” (L) x 9.8” (H) x 7.5” (W)

The differences between the Speedy Bandouliere and the classic Speedy are key, but subtle enough to go unnoticed. The Speedy Bandouliere features a dual double-zip closure/brass-tone lock and a cross-body strap along Vachetta panel detailing on each side. The classic Speedy features only one main zipper, which has a Vachetta leather tab pull.
