Methodology:

  • As always, we are reporting eBay sales.  Time-frame is release date through the end of 2013
  • Volume = total sales, deadstock and used
  • All price points (Average, High, Low, Volatility) are based on Deadstock only
  • There were only 36 Used pairs – 15 for each of the ECPs, 4 High Risk, 2 Flamingo
  • Volatility = Standard Deviation of Price divided by Average Price

The Sneakers:

  • Flamingo’s had the highest average price at $447.  ECP Miami had the highest single sale at $600.
  • Daytona’s had the second highest volume at 249, but were released at the end of November, meaning they sold all of those pairs in just one month.  High volume in a short period of time, combined with relatively low average price ($256, only $4 more than the lowest) means that Daytonas were probably the least limited of the seven pairs.
  • Although it was released in 2012, the Puma Disc Cove sold 64 pairs in 2013 at an average price of $235.
