EU Reduced Processing Fees FAQs

Here at StockX, we’re always working towards delivering a better experience for our customers around the world. Today, we are excited to launch a new marketplace update designed specifically for our European users. 

This new update allows us to match European buyers with European sellers to significantly reduce processing fees. Additionally, when buying from a seller outside of Europe, we’ll include any applicable duties in the item’s initial Ask price, meaning customers will see the item’s true cost from the very first stage.

This ensures that our customers always get the lowest price available globally and that the Ask seen on StockX reflects the bottom-line price. So there will never be surprise charges at delivery.

Why are you doing this?

The most frequent feedback we receive from our community is around our fees. In the coming months, we hope to roll-out a number of new features to help alleviate these costs, starting by reducing processing fees on European trades.

How are you able to make this happen?

By matching European buyers and European sellers to provide the cheapest overall price whenever possible.

Can I still buy and sell products outside of Europe?

You can. StockX always has been and always will be a global marketplace. 

Our new model means that you will continue to see the lowest Ask price of a product, with any applicable fees included, whether that item comes from Europe or further afield.

Does this change mean I will be charged duties at the door by the carrier?

No, you won’t. Any applicable duties on purchases where the product is coming from outside of Europe will now be included in the item’s Ask price.

Are shipping fees included?

Shipping fees are still calculated and applied at checkout.
