Editor’s Note: Look, it’s stating the obvious, but the world is very different right now. And while we’re all doing our part in terms of social distancing, it’s important to check in with others and remind ourselves that what we’re doing is for the greater good. Enter StockX’s newest series “On The Line With…” in which we highlight the at-home habits of new and old friends of the brand. If you’re looking for tips on how to stay productive, want to get inspired to take up a new hobby, or simply need permission to take it easy, these posts are for you.

To kick off this series, we connected with Myles O’Neal, who’s currently social distancing with his dad, Shaquille O’Neal, in Orlando, Florida. In addition to being the son of one of the greatest NBA players of all time, you probably recognize him from fashion week runways, his impeccable style on social media, or from one of the O’Neal family’s now-legendary quarantine videos. Needless to say, social distancing with the Big Diesel family has its perks. Read up and remember that we’re all in this together.

Describe what you do for a living and how you’re adjusting to social distancing.

My name is Myles O’Neal. I’m a model, fashion influencer, and just recently started DJing as well. It’s been crazy since the spread of COVID-19 has affected all of our lives. No one I know, myself included, has been working in the way we’re all used to since this has started.

During this time of social distancing, people are leaning on things such as streaming services, puzzles, at-home workouts, etc. What activities are you using to take your mind off of things?

Most of the days my brothers and I work out, relax, watch movies, or take cool photos. We’ve also been making a lot of funny videos for people to look at while they’re staying inside their homes and practicing social distancing.

What daily rituals are you practicing?

I try to start every day with a good breakfast: Eggs, fruit, and extra protein. I’ll go on a bike ride then workout. That’s usually how my day begins before I start binge-watching shows.

What accomplishment or project are you most proud of during your time social distancing?

I’ve been most excited about my live debut set on YouTube tonight for Trillerfest which also features Migos, Snoop, Marshmello, and more. The virtual music festival will drive donations for those deeply affected by COVID-19. It’s my debut EDM/Techno set, so I’m really excited to get it out and share it with the world. Not going to lie, I’m a little nervous but looking forward to it so much. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

What advice would you give to others who may be struggling in isolation right now?

I think people should take this time to explore new interests. Something they’ve always thought about doing but never had the time. My family and I have been really trying to find new hobbies and activities while we have this down time.

What are you most excited for once this is over?

Once this is over, I’m just going to be so excited to start working and planning again. Just trying to do as much as possible. The one thing that this pandemic has shown me is that everything we’re doing can be stopped in the blink of an eye, so we should all be should be pushing ourselves to accomplish our goals and stay busy with our lives while we can.
