Thrasher Magazine is every skaterā€™s guide. The magazine company has been pushing out content since 1981 and has been responsible for bringing skateboarding to a mainstream audience. Skateboarding is the mainstay of the brand and the lens through which they create the most outlandish content (peep their King of The Road contests), it seems like a collaboration between Thrasher and Supreme shouldā€™ve happened way earlier than it did. Nonetheless, the two have been collaborating since 2011, bringing skaters and Supreme lovers together with some great pieces. Check out the many collections since the partnership’s fruition and check out other Supreme favorites on StockX.

Thrasher Magazine x Supreme 2011

This first drop seemed to be more of a test run for the collaboration based on the expected design. The two brands agreed on dropping t-shirts and hoodies in a variety of colors donning the ubiquitous Thrasher Magazine logo on the back and Supreme on the front/sleeves of the clothes. Nothing too wild and exaggerated. The tees and hoodies weren’t that easy to come by, but you can find some ranging between $98 to $200 on the secondary market.

Thrasher Magazine x Supreme 2015

The second drop between the two skateboard entities played a lot more with design and wasnā€™t afraid to get colorful and creative. In 2015, you couldnā€™t see an Instagram photo or a Tumblr post without seeing someone wearing a Thrasher shirt. This drop consisted of more than just t-shirts and hoodies, introducing a heavily branded work jacket, mesh shirts, and shorts. They also introduced new colors of their popular Thrasher logo hoodies, including a flaming Supreme graphic on the sleeves. Just like their previous drop, this collection requires another deep search, but some pieces can be found on StockX, with the work jacket going for over $1k!

Thrasher Magazine x Supreme 2017

It seems like every Thrasher and Supreme drop has gotten more and more thoughtful. Their most recent drop includes some embroidery work on jackets and hoodies, each stating the magazineā€™s motto: “Skate and Destroy.” This drop also includes graphic heavy pieces, each including a cell from a comic strip, with one of the characters saying, ā€œOh God! Why Canā€™t My Boyfriend SKATE?!ā€ This image has been used by the skateboard magazine since the ’80s but it is great to have Supreme including it in product design. You can find a selection of pieces from this collaboration on StockX.
