It happened fast but, believe it or not, Spring is upon us! With the official calendar season starting next week, we realize that itā€™s only a matter of time before weā€™re transitioning from heavy outerwear to light outerwear. And for that, youā€™re going to need something new and weather-appropriate to flex in from The North Face. We realize that under the current circumstances, you may not be heading outside as frequently, but you certainly still should. Just make sure to practice your responsible social distancing while flexing your spring jackets in the park.

In preparation for the upcoming season, weā€™ve taken a look through our catalog and selected the best spring jackets, fleeces, hoodies and more from our favorite The North Face Collaborations. Scroll down to look through our list of the best The North Face Collaborations for Spring.

Supreme x The North Face Expedition Collection

Every season, the Supreme x The North Face collection is one of the most coveted released in streetwear. But the issue with a Supreme TNF collaboration for some is that they can be just a tad bit loud and hard to wear for the minimalists among us. For those who arenā€™t necessarily trying to draw the gaze of every person in every room, Supreme x The North Faceā€™s FW18 Expedition collection presented one of the most wearable collections the brand has dropped in a long time. Following full leather, snakeskin, and metallic themed collections that released via the three prior collaborations, FW18 featured minimal branding and had a little something for everyone. For those of us who arenā€™t ready to go full on Statue of Liberty, the Expedition Collection provides easy-to-wear alternatives like the black Expedition Jacket or the Red Expedition fleece. Weā€™ve curated a selection of the collaborationā€™s biggest hits below and the entire collection can be shopped here.

Supreme x The North Face Trans Antarctica Collection

When most people think about Supreme x The North Face, their first thoughts are oftentimes about Mountain Jackets, Nuptses, and Baltoros. While the Mountain Jacket will work through the spring months, a Nuptse or Baltoro is absolutely overkill and will leave you sweating when you shouldnā€™t be. For their SS17 collaboration with The North Face, Supreme had the season in mind, dropping their spring-ready Trans Antarctica Collection. The collection features both GORE-TEX Pullover Jackets and Fleece Jackets. This release has something for everyone including colorways in all shades from blue to army green, and black for those of us who rock the monochrome. So if youā€™re looking to keep dry, consider the Pullover and if youā€™re just looking for a new light layering piece, go with the Fleece Jackets. Brain Dead x The North Face

While Supreme x The North Face primarily dominates our catalog of The North Face collaborations, several other brands have also released hit-collaborations with the outerwear company as well. Brain Dead collaborated with The North Face in late 2019, releasing a capsule that crashed The North Faceā€™s site. The collaboration also just so happens to be perfect for the upcoming season. With Mountain Jackets in colors that work perfectly for the springtime, these pieces have you covered for any elements you may come into contact with. But this drop featured more than just outerwear. Brain Dead x The North Face also brought a number of streetwear items with it that are perfect for the changing weather. The hoodies and long sleeve tees released in the perfect spring palette, coming in forest green, navy blue, and cream colorways. Weā€™ve curated a selection of the Brain Dead x The North Faceā€™s best spring pieces below and the entire drop can be shopped here.

Supreme x The North Face Bandana Print Collection

Easily a top-3 most recognizable Supreme x The North Face Collaboration, FW14ā€™s Bandana Print collection released to instant sellouts and high praise. The collection featured only five items: a Mountain Jacket, a Dolomite Sleeping Bag, a ThermoBallā„¢ Traction Mule, ETIP Gloves, and a Rolling Thunder Bag. The jackets from this capsule have turned into grails among the streetwear community with several size mediums of the red Mountain Jacket selling for over $5,000 on StockX in the last year. One of these will definitely cost you a pretty penny but if youā€™re looking to stand out and show off, the Supreme The North Face Bandana Mountain Jacket is the jacket for you. Shop a selection of the collaboration below and the entire collection on StockX here.

Extra Butter x The North Face

Extra Butter has collaborated with The North Face a few times but their most recent collaboration from 2018 was a massive hit. Dubbed the Nightcrawler Collection, this capsule featured the release of a Nuptse Jacket, a Mountain Jacket, a Hooded Denali Fleece, a Waistbag, an Umbrella, and more, covered in imagery of a nighttime city skyline. While the collection was released in the winter, we couldnā€™t leave it out of our spring list, especially with that Umbrella! If youā€™re looking for a jacket thatā€™ll have everyone asking questions but doesnā€™t stray too far from a dark color palette, this is the collection for you. A curated selection of Extra Butter x The North Face can be shopped below and the entire collection can be found here.

More The North Face Fleeces

Fleeces are the hottest thing on the streets right now. We know it. You know it. Everyone alive knows it. As we move into the transitional season of spring, the fleece becomes an even more vital part of any wardrobe. With that in mind, weā€™ve selected a few of our favorite The North Face fleeces from collaborations with brands like SNS, Supreme, and more!
