Nike and Jordan Brand are dropping a slew of new releases. From the latest addition to the Jordan 4 catalog to updates on the classic Air Force 1, check out everything that's caught our eye this week.

This article is part 17 of 131 in the series: The Drop List

To close out February, Nike and Jordan Brand are pulling out all of the stops. Two Nike Dunk Highs finally see a stateside release, the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze drops, and a new Nike Basketball silhouette makes its public debut. Check out these releases and more in this week’s Drop List.

Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze

Hype for the new Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze started brewing when the teasers of the sneakers surfaced, with sneakerheads noting their similarities to Travis Scott’s unreleased Air Jordan 4 Olive. Despite being compared to such a hyped sneaker, the Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze has characteristics that allow it to stand out on its own.

The Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze features a unique design that elevates the popular Jordan model. The upper holds cracked textures on the forefoot, midfoot, and tongue, with lighter shades of Taupe Haze under the top coat. From there, hits of black appear on the outsole, midsole, and eyelets. An Infrared Jumpman logo on the tongue brightens up the tonal sneaker and completes its overall design.

The Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze drops this Saturday, February 27th, for $200 on the SNKRS app and other Jordan Brand stockists.

Nike Blazer Mid READYMADE Black and White

The Nike Blazer Mid debuted in 1976 and is still being reinvented through collaborations. In light of many deconstructed designs showing up on popular silhouettes (shoutout Virgil Abloh and Sacai), the Japanese label, READYMADE, brought a similar flare to the Blazer to add to its legacy.

The Nike Blazer Mid READYMADE Black and White deliver an avant-garde approach to the traditional basketball sneaker. For starters, the uppers are constructed with a mix of second-hand camouflage and foam materials for a more environmentally-conscious sneaker. Continuing the sustainable theme, the sole is constructed with 15% of Nike Grind rubber, a collection of scraps from worn sneakers and leftover rubber repurposed to create new products. READYMADE’s latest creation is ready to reduce the wearer’s carbon footprint, while at the same time introducing new territory for the famous Blazer model.

The Nike Blazer Mid READYMADE Black and White release on Saturday, February 27th for $160 on the SNKRS app.

Nike Cosmic Unity Green Glow

Nike continues pushing sustainability initiatives with their latest basketball sneaker, the Cosmic Unity. The sneaker brings Nike into new territory, as the Cosmic Unity is their first basketball model to be made with 25% recycled materials.

The Nike Cosmic Unity Green Glow brings 90s hip-hop vibes into its design. Multi-colored loop laces bring a pop of color to the black upper. From there, the Green Glow midsole is constructed entirely from Crater Foam, Nike’s signature recycled material. On top of the Crater Foam, the midsole is also equipped with a full-length Air Zoom unit for additional comfort. To wrap it all up, a cable-knitted forefoot is added for breathability to cool off the wearer’s feet while on the court.

The Nike Cosmic Unity Green Glow releases Saturday, February 27th, for $150 on the SNKRS app and other Nike stockists.

Nike Air Force 1 Experimental Black

After a strong resale performance from the Nike Air Force 1 Experimenta Racer Pink debut last week, the next colorway drops in an all-black makeup. This new colorway of the Experimental silhouette adds yet another layer to the Air Force 1’s extensive catalog of innovative designs.

The Nike Air Force 1 Experimental Black is a complete contrast to last week’s Racer Pink colorway. The shoe takes a unique approach to a Nike classic by being dressed entirely in a black vacuum-seal, wrapped in black laminated material. The tongue features exposed foam, adding to its rugged look, while drawstring lacing brings a tactical element to the Air Force 1. A blue heel tag and neon green label that guarantees Nike’s focus on quality are the only signs of vibrant color that pop off of the otherwise dark-hued shoe.

The Nike Air Force 1 Experimental Black drops on Thursday, February 25, for $120 on the SNKRS app and other Nike stockists.

The Nike Dunk High made a monumental return in 2020 and Nike continues building the silhouette’s momentum with two new grey colorways. After releasing internationally, the Nike Dunk Vast Grey and Football Grey are dropping in the U.S. on the SNKRS app.

Both Nike Dunk Highs are designed in traditional color blocking similar to past Dunk High colorways. The women’s exclusive Football Grey features a mix of light Football Grey and Sail shades on various panels. The Vast Grey pair is dressed similarly, but opting the previous colors with Vast Grey and white, a good choice for anyone unable to get the recent Air Jordan 1 ‘85 Neutral Grey.

The Nike Dunk High Vast Grey and Football Grey release Thursday, February 25th for $110 on the SNKRS app and other Nike Dunk stockists.
