Nike paid homage to its own sports research lab in its experimental Air Force 1 design. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Experimental Racer Pink is inspired by the oxygen masks worn by Nike athletes who test new performance products.

The Racer Pink upper displays a brand new vacuum-sealed treatment that preserves freshness. A neon patch reading, "This Label Is Your Guarantee Of Quality" is located on the heel, serving as a stamp of approval from the Swoosh. Foam is exposed on the edges of the tongue like vintage Nike designs. Dual pull tabs on the tongue and heel, an elastic drawcord with a clear lace lock on the tongue, and gum soles wrap up this unique design.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Experimental Racer Pink released in February of 2021 and retailed for $130.
