Product Description

The Jordan 9 Retro Doernbecher Pollito is a shoe that was designed as part of a collaboration between Air Jordan and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

This version of the Jordan 9 Retro features a white leather upper. Each side bears boxes outlined in gold stitching that feature little pockmarks to add texture. Black leather overlays with gold braided rope designs round out the whole shoe, from the toe back to the heel and up to the ankle. The number 17 is embroidered on the heel in gold thread, while a Jumpman logo appears on what looks like a medal underneath a branded pull tab. The tongue features Pollito branding and the shoe sits on a black midsole. The beige outsole features a Jumpman logo on the lateral side under the heel.

What stands out about this sneaker is the bold golden rope designs that are seen around the entire shoe. The Jordan 9 Retro Doernbecher Pollito was released on November 30, 2012, and retailed for $175.
