Flex on anyone at the tennis club with the Supreme LACOSTE Velour Polo. Supreme and LACOSTE recently linked up during the streetwear brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 season. For Spring/Summer 2018 they continue where they left off with even more options in apparel and accessories. LACOSTE was founded in 1933 and named after founder Rene LACOSTE. A tennis player, it is never a surprise to see LACOSTE being worn on the tennis court through generations of players. The brand is known for their iconic green crocodile logo, coming from the founder’s nickname “The Crocodile”. The brand created a new collaborative logo for the season featuring the crocodile surrounded by the brand’s names. That new logo was the main feature on the polo. The classic polo was remixed with a cotton blend velour body, a material used frequently in the collection. Seen here in orange, there was five colorways of the polo made. Keeping it simple the polo uses a simple ribbed collar and two-button setup. The new logo was added onto the chest in the form of a felt patch. Made exclusively for the collection the top dropped with the entire collection on April 19th, 2018.
