The time to prepare for Fall/Winter 2021 is now and we’re anxiously counting the hours on our Supreme Timex Digital Watches as the season approaches.

This article is part 57 of 109 in the series: StockX Pick Of The Week

While it may seem like Spring/Summer 2021 season just ended, Supreme’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2021 is only a few weeks away, and Week 1 of Fall/Winter 2021 is likely to be a banger. Traditionally, the first week of every Supreme season includes more pieces than any other and it’s not unusual for that selection to be some of the brand’s most exciting. This week, we’re taking a look back at one of the most memorable and exciting Week 1 accessories in the last few years: the Supreme Timex Digital Watch.

Supreme’s collaborative Digital Watch with Timex was one of five accessories to be made available as a part of Week 1 of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2021 season. Serving as both a functional and stylish wearable accessory, the Supreme Timex Digital Watch outsold the Pyrex Measuring Cup, Voodoo Doll, Tsubota Lighters, and Pelican Cases that also released that week. The watch features a printed Supreme Logo behind its digital screen in gold and silver colorways and is waterproof to 99 feet deep.

Years before the Timex Digital Watch released, Supreme gave out collaborative Rolexs to family and friends. This sparked rumors that the two brand’s may officially release some kind of timepiece together. Unfortunately, the two brands have yet to work together in an official capacity but the Supreme Timex Digital Watch certainly scratched an itch for fans looking to wear their favorite streetwear brand on their wrist.

Not only was the Timex Digital Watch Supreme’s first widely available wearable timepiece, it was also extremely affordable. Released at a retail price of $68, those who were able to checkout on Supreme’s site found themselves met with quite the dilemma: keep the Timex or sell it? Due to high demand and low resale prices, release week resale premiums were nearly 200%, with most sales being closed at over $200 on StockX. In the two years since its release, the Supreme Timex Digital Watch has more than held its value. Those who’ve decided to keep their Timex Digital Watch in deadstock condition can now sell at price premiums of nearly 400% and some have been resold for almost $300.

The Supreme Timex Digital Watch is just one of many exciting Week 1 pieces to kick a season off on the right foot. For Spring/Summer 2021, it was the Supreme KAWS Chalk Logo Hoodie and for Fall/Winter 2020, the most exciting debut week item was the Bicycle Playing Cards. Looking back even further, Supreme released both a new colorway of their popular Zippo Lighter and a Tupac T-shirt for Week 1 of Spring/Summer 2021. With Supreme’s first Week of Fall/Winter 2021 on the horizon, we can only wait with eager anticipation to see what their debut will look like. Hopefully we get an accessory as essential as the Supreme Timex Digital Watch or an apparel item as iconic as the KAWS Chalk Logo Hoodie.
