Jalen Ramsey has been a dominating force on the field throughout his college and professional football careers. The NFL Pro Bowler’s debut as a Los Angeles Ram comes October 20th and has been surrounded with much anticipation. We had the opportunity to catch up with Jalen for our latest installment of “That’s 5.”

The following has been lightly edited.
What influences you?
My daughters influence me more than anything in the world. They have changed my life more than I could have ever imagined, and more than they’ll ever know. They influence me to be a better man.
What’s the most overrated?
Social media popularity. Nowadays, there are too many people looking to social media for validation instead of enjoying life and focusing on the important things.
What’s the most underrated?
True happiness and peace. It’s easy to take life for granted. There’s always a lot going on in the world and in our individual lives. It’s easy to get caught up in the nonsense. Lately, I’ve been big on having happiness and peace. It can be infectious and that good energy will always come back to you.
What are you most excited about, right now?
I’m most excited about a fresh start in LA with the Rams. It’s a new year and I like our team. I’m about new relationships and friendships I’ve built in 2019, too. I’ve met some dope people with some dope vibes.
What’s next for you?
Getting the bag on and off the field with the gang, my family and friends [laughs].
