First thing’s first, If you’re new to the side hustling game, welcome! This is going to be fun. StockX is a live marketplace where you can buy and sell the best in bags from your favorite luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Goyard, and Balenciaga, but also sneakers, streetwear, and watches too. Don’t be overwhelmed, it’s super simple. Think of it this way, someone somewhere is out there trying to cop the bag that YOU were dying to cop at one point. I know it may seem daunting as a rookie side hustler trying to figure out how to sell your Louis Vuitton Neverfull or Gucci Soho Disco bag online, but don’t worry – we’ve got your back.
How it works
If you have a bag or accessory to sell, you don’t have to take photos, write descriptions or deal with buyers.You can first “place an ask” to create a product listing at your own price. This simply means that you search for the product you’re selling in our vast catalog which includes 15 of the top luxury designer brands and set a price (or “ask”) that you’re willing to sell your bag at. Once a buyer’s Bid matches the price of the Ask you’ve listed, the transaction will automatically go through. For a more detailed look on how our shipping process works, click here.
The item you’re selling has to be in excellent pre-owned condition.
Ship those bad boys out
Sellers must ship out their items within 2 business days. StockX has in-house authenticators to verify whether or not your item checks out – so make sure you’re being an honest side hustler. Buyers will typically receive their items within 1 week of purchase.
You are now officially a StockX side hustler
Congratulations! You are well on your way to becoming a vet (told you it was super simple). The more bags you sell, the higher your chances are of becoming what we call a “power seller.” Once you’ve reached power seller status, the possibilities and opportunities will be endless, my friend. Buyers will want to continue doing business with you.
But there’s some fine print you should keep in mind
There’s a 15% penalty fee if the buyer doesn’t receive their items within two business days. This typically occurs if the item you’re selling is not authentic or is not in excellent pre-owned condition. Once the trade between an ask and a bid is established the order cannot be cancelled. Moral of the story: No one likes a flake, but everyone respects a hustler (Tony Soprano voice).
