In the world of AKIRA motorcycle gangs run rampant, so the Supreme AKIRA Coveralls seem fitting. In Katsuhiro Otomo’s world, a post-World War III Tokyo is dealing with gangs who sell drugs and run the streets. In this world it would be no surprise to see mechanics in their coveralls working to make sure the light-trailing bikes ran properly. Flexing their strength, Supreme shows they can release apparel that most other brands would never dream of using. The coveralls were made from a cotton blend twill with enzyme wash for comfort. The large piece has a two-way zipper and snap enclosure to make sure you are protected from the dirt and grime. On the chest patch pockets were added with snap closure along with slanted pockets on the hip. Even a coin pocket was added, truly a piece for those who will actually work in them. Branding is minimal on the front pocket along with embroidered onto the left leg. On the back a large patch featuring original artwork from the manga is stitched in. November 2nd, 2017 was the date the Supreme AKIRA Syringe Coveralls was released in most Supreme markets.
