Custom-designed sneakers representing all 48 participating nations — each signed by KidSuper’s Colm Dillane — will be available via a StockX Auction running June 11–15.
StockX today announced an exclusive auction featuring a new culture-defining collaboration from Brooklyn-based artist and designer Colm Dillane of KidSuper and iconic Japanese streetwear brand BAPE. The collection boasts 48 custom BAPESTA colorways — one for every nation competing in this summer’s global soccer tournament — and will only be available for online purchase on StockX. The auction runs from June 11 at 3 p.m. ET through June 15 at 8 p.m. ET.
StockX is the only place buyers can access this full collection online and receive their purchases while soccer’s biggest tournament is underway. A small number of sneakers will be available for purchase in-person at KidSuper Studios in Brooklyn and select BAPE stores in Japan starting on June 11, but inventory is extremely limited and expected to sell out immediately. KidSuper and BAPE also plan to offer pre-orders for select styles. Pre-order styles that hit the required minimum order threshold will then be produced and available at a future date.
“Partnering with StockX was a natural fit because they understand collectors, culture, and community. This collection isn’t just about the shoes — it’s about giving soccer fans around the world access to something unique, while celebrating the global reach of the game I love so much,” said Dillane. “This project was a chance to blend my personal love of soccer with the creativity and storytelling that defines KidSuper. What excited me most was spotlighting nations that don’t always get global attention. So many countries have incredible soccer cultures, beautiful flags, and color palettes that made for some of the strongest shoes in the collection. I wanted every pair to feel unique.”
Each pair in the KidSuper x BAPE collection was designed by Dillane in the corresponding nation’s colors and flag motifs, resulting in 48 distinct, wearable works of art. Every pair’s custom packaging is personally signed by Dillane, making each a singular collectible at the crossroads of sport, art and sneaker culture.
“This is exactly the kind of work StockX Auctions was built to elevate. With 48 individual expressions of national identity and global culture, KidSuper and BAPE have created something that transcends your average sneaker collaboration. We’re proud to be the platform that puts that work in front of the collectors who will truly appreciate it,” said Jerry Gaines, vice president of brand marketing at StockX.
