As the name implies, adidas Nite Jogger is a collection of shoes designed for running at night. It is also a retro relaunch of the OG ‘80s recreational running shoe that came with a distinctive, almost triangular appearance, blue midsole inserts, and reflective tape on the heel tabs to make runners visible in the dark. Although the updated adidas Nite Jogger features new technologies and colorways, it continues to celebrate the culture of night jogging and the eye-catching footwear of the ‘80s.
The cut-and-sewn upper is usually made of breathable mesh and nylon, while the overlays feature soft suede. However, some variations of the adidas Nite Jogger come with leather or a combination of materials. Reflective accents create patterns across the whole shoe and pay homage to the OG version. A responsive, full-length Boost midsole provides lightweight cushioning and a modern look, while the rubber outsole adds durability. In addition, the running shoe offers OrthoLite sock liners, which support the foot and provide comfort.
The adidas Nite Jogger comes in a variety of colorways, ranging from space-age silver tones to hues that look like they belong in a packet of school highlighters. The adidas Nite Jogger White Mountaineering White represents a collaboration with the Japanese brand White Mountaineering and is one of the most vibrant shoes in the collection. It has a Footwear White, Real Gold, and Collegiate Burgundy colorway that features bold color blocking and bright stripes.
While the adidas Nite Jogger collection primarily includes men’s footwear, women’s and grade-school sizes are also available.
