adidas first introduced the Prophere in late 2017 in a black/solar colorway. The brand then proceeded to release the sneaker in a bunch of other colorways throughout 2018, which eventually led to the adidas Prophere Triple Black being unveiled.

The Triple Black version of the adidas Prophere featured an all-black knit upper with a unique design that was built to provide targeted support to those who put this sneaker on. It also had a special lacing system that incorporated the Three Stripes on each of its sides into the mix to provide a tight fit. It included a wide tongue as well, which further helped separate it from some of the other lifestyle sneakers adidas was releasing at the time.

But our experts think the best aspect of this shoe was its black polyurethane midsole that provided the sneaker with texture while also adding an extra dimension to it. The adidas Prophere Triple Black was released on March 1, 2018, when it retailed for $120.
