Goyard

Goyard is a luxury fashion brand based in Paris, France. The brand was founded in 1853 by French trunk-maker François Goyard, who started designing and producing luxurious travel bags and accessories for rich and affluent clients. Over time, Goyard bags became a symbol of luxury, elegance, and excellence, and the brand became a reference in the world of high-end fashion.

The brand's signature design is the “Goyardine” canvas, a durable, waterproof material made from hemp and cotton fibres that is printed with Goyard's trademark geometric pattern of interlocking chevrons. This canvas is used to create a range of products including the Saint Louis Tote PM Black and the Belvedere Messenger Goyardine MM grey.

Mainly relying on word-of-mouth marketing and the brand's loyal following of high-profile celebrities and influential clients, Goyard has maintained a low profile throughout its history, staying out of the mainstream fashion scene. Despite this, Goyard has become one of the most desirable luxury brands in the world, with its products often fetching high prices. However, despite its growth, the brand has remained true to its roots, maintaining the same level of quality and craftsmanship that its clients have come to expect.

Goyard products are versatile and timeless and can be paired with a wide range of outfits, making them ideal accessories for any occasion. For instance, the St. Louis Totes can be paired with casual or formal shoes to add an element of sophistication and style. They are perfect for running daily errands, going to the gym or beach, or attending business meetings. Pairing a Goyard wallet, belt, or small leather accessory with a plain-coloured outfit can add a slight accent, bringing a subtle touch of luxury to any look.
