The adidas Sport Shoe LEGO Yellow (PS) takes a running shoe silhouette, dresses it to look like a fun Lego project, and sizes it for preschool-aged kids.
This LEGO x adidas sneaker begins with an upper of yellow mesh on the forefoot, with yellow synthetic to bolster the toe cap and form the eyestay overlay. Padded blue textile is used for the collar, while tonal synthetic leather is used for the hook and loop strap. The strap works in tandem with the elastic yellow laces that cross over the yellow textile tongue. The sock liner is red, adding another primary color to this upper. Black adidas 3-stripes adorn the side panel. The white foam midsole with its soft cushioning is covered with translucent green synthetic. The green and red rubber outsole features a traction pattern that looks like Lego bricks.
Our favorite detail of this toddlers’ sneaker is the green rubber heel tab, also shaped like a Lego brick. It sports a convenient pull tab, adding style and function to this shoe. The adidas Sport Shoe LEGO Yellow (PS) debuted on December 3, 2020, for $65 retail.
