The Jordan 36 Luka Doncic El Matador pays homage to Dallas Maverick’s Luca Doncic, who goes by the nickname "El Matador" from his early career in Spain.
The El Matador sneaker comes in a Chile red, metallic gold, university red and black colorway. The high top silhouette of the sneaker is based on a red textile upper with gold embroidery, drawn from the traje de luces traditional bullfighting costumes. Black stripes layer the shoe on the midsole, along the vamp, ankle line, and collar. "El Matador" is stitched on the black heel tab and inner tongue. Laces with a black and red checked pattern go through concealed black webbed eyelets and punched eyelets at the throat. The red sole features a gold eclipse plate just below the arch, and a zoom Air unit.
