The Jordan 36 Taco Jay is a special iteration of the Air Jordan 36 featuring a unique taco-inspired colorway, paying homage to NBA star Jayson Tatum, whose nickname happens to be Taco Jay.

The shoe’s upper is constructed using a leno weave material with mesh overlays, while the outsole is made from rubber. It has light yellow as the predominant color with Olive Green covering the upper part, including the laces, while the outsole is in bright orange. It also has the classic TPU ribbon synonymous with most shoes on the Air Jordan 36 line.

The stand-out feature of this Jordan 36 Taco Jay has to be the taco-inspired design. This is not only visible on the color scheme, but the general design of the shoe, particularly the taco graphic and the serrated lining on the tongue, which almost resembles a taco wrap. The shoe was first released for retail on June 17th, 2022, priced at $195.
