The ASICS Superblast 2 Black White is a performance athletic shoe featuring a Black mesh upper that incorporates the ASICS Stripes into the fabric’s weave in White. The stripes extend onto the oversized midsole, printed in a gradient pattern. The hefty midsole and outsole combo is done in linear textured Black, and Superblast 2 branding accents the rear heel pull tab.

Japan’s ASICS has been refining their footwear craft since 1949, and the brand is known to reference past styles and retool them with new technology in its footwear development process. The Superblast 2’s outsole was inspired by a trampoline and utilizes Blast Plus and Turbo Plus cushioning, which are also used in the company’s Metaspeed racing shoes.
