Bearbrick KAWS 400%Grey

Product Description

The Bearbrick KAWS 400% Grey brings the artist’s visual identity to Medicom Toy’s recognizable bear figure. The muted grey palette gives the piece a restrained look that lets its character details stand out. At 400% scale, it has enough presence to serve as the focus of a display while still fitting alongside other figures from a KAWS or BE@RBRICK collection.

KAWS collaborations are of interest to collectors who follow the connection between contemporary art and designer toys. On a BE@RBRICK, that connection is especially direct: an established collectible silhouette becomes a space for the artist’s characters and design choices. Grey also makes this version distinct from more colorful releases, allowing its shape and graphic details to take priority. It can be displayed on its own or alongside other KAWS figures to show how his work changes across formats.

For collectors, the combination of KAWS, the grey colorway, and the 400% size defines this particular piece. Those details matter when comparing the many figures associated with the artist. The supplied price is $34, and the supplied date is July 1, 2012.
