Product Description

The Diadora Intrepid Bait x Astro Boy resulted from a team effort between the Italian-based fashion house Diadora and the Southern California footwear company, BAIT.

Black, red, and green hues inspired by Astro Boy, a Japanese manga character, dress the upper of the Diadora Intrepid. The mudguard has a premium black leather overlay, while the vamp is clad in green silky suede—a white leather strip with perforation on the side ushers in the throat. The eyestays and the tongue provide contrast with black suede finishes. The tongue tag consists of white embroidery displaying the Tetsuwan Atom motif on both shoes, the Diadora logo on the right, and "BAIT" on the left. Astro Boy’s face adorns the heel counter with a black leather overlay.

Among the most outstanding features of this shoe is the Astro Boy signature colorway on the quarter panels, where green suede and a red leather Diadora logo cover a black underlay. The Diadora Intrepid Bait x Astro Boy was released on November 22nd, 2017, for $170.
