The Air Jordan 13 Retro Barons Hologram was inspired by the Birmingham Barons, the minor league baseball team that Michael Jordan played for briefly during his retirement from basketball and was released in 2014.

The Hologram Air Jordan 13 Retro Barons has a white upper with black, wolf grey, and teal accents, as well as holographic elements throughout the design. The shoe features a Phylon midsole with a Zoom Air unit in the heel for responsive cushioning, as well as a rubber outsole for traction and durability. The hologram feature is evident on the heel and the teal-colored Jumpman logo is on the tongue.
