The Jordan 4 Retro Fire Red Mars Blackmon is a special edition colorway that pays tribute to the iconic Mars Blackmon character, played by filmmaker Spike Lee, who appeared in numerous Nike Air Jordan commercials in the 80s and 90s.

The shoe has a predominantly white upper made from leather material with black accents covering the heel tab, part of the midsole, and underneath the mesh netting. Red accents appear on the collar and tongue lining, part of the outsole and both Jumpman logos on the heel and tongue. The shoe also showcases Mars Blackmon character logo on the heel tab, which features Mars Blackmon's silhouette and can be seen wearing his signature round glasses.
