LEGO Education SPIKE Essential Set 45345

Product Description

The LEGO Education SPIKE Essential Set 45345 combines familiar LEGO building with programmable hardware for hands-on STEAM learning. Designed for primary-school activities, the set uses everyday scenarios and minifigure characters to introduce problem-solving through storytelling. Its focus extends beyond constructing a single model, encouraging learners to build, test, and revise different solutions using the same collection of elements.

The set contains 449 elements, including building pieces, motors, sensors, and a programmable hub. These components work with the LEGO Education SPIKE App, connecting physical models with digital coding activities. Curriculum-aligned lessons provide structured starting points, while the varied building elements allow learners to explore movement, mechanisms, and interactive responses through their own creations.

For families and educators interested in LEGO robotics, SPIKE Essential offers a combination of character-led activities and reusable hardware. The emphasis on rebuilding makes the contents useful across multiple projects, with each activity introducing another way to connect a program to a physical result. Released on October 29, 2021, the LEGO Education SPIKE Essential Set 45345 retailed for $275. LEGO® Education
