Nike implements the design principles of the historic Bauhaus art school with the Nike Air Max 270 React "Bauhaus", now available on StockX. The Staatliches Bauhaus, popularly known as the Bauhaus, was a German art school operational from 1919 to 1933 that combined crafts and the fine arts. Meaning "Building House", Bauhaus lived up to its name and acted as a "school of building". The Bauhaus made huge developments in art, architecture, graphic design, interior design, industrial design, and typography. It was known for the founding of simplified, geometric shapes with an eye-catching asymmetrical color balance.

This 270 React fuses two renown Nike technologies: the Air Max and React. The heel features an Air Max 270 unit and the rest of the midsole uses the resilient foam of React technology. This shoe features a white upper with primary color palette overlays. A white midsole and blue Air Max unit completes the design. These sneakers released in June of 2019 and retailed for $150.
