The Light Bone colorway of the Nike Air Max 97 features an upper of lightweight, breathable light bone mesh overlaid with wavy strips of different shades of light bone synthetic leather. The black mesh tongue is crisscrossed by black rope laces that match the black sock liner and insole. One black pull tab runs vertically up the heel, and another adorns the tongue, providing ease with on/off. This elegantly designed upper rests atop a black foam midsole that houses visible Max Air units. The black rubber outsole, with hits of light bone, features heritage waffle lugs that provide traction and absorb impact.
