Nike Air Max 97Light Bone (Women's)

The Nike Air Max 97 Light Bone (Women's) was part of the "First Use" pack that Nike introduced in 2021 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Swoosh logo. It was a women’s-exclusive shoe that featured the Air Max 97 in a set of new colors.

The upper on this Air Max 97 was constructed out of a combination of leather, mesh, and synthetic materials. The bulk of the shoe was an off-white sail color, but it did have pops of blue worked into the mix, thanks to its laces. It also had pops of red, courtesy of the repeated Nike script on one of the shoe’s wavy side panels, and the red Swoosh on the quarter panel.

But our favorite part about this shoe was the visible full-length Air midsole that also incorporated some of the same red color from the Nike script and Swoosh. It was always one of the best parts about the Air Max 97, and it stands out even more than usual done up in red. The Nike Air Max 97 Light Bone (Women's) was released on September 8, 2021 for a $180 retail price.
