The upper of this iconic Volt Reflective Logo Nike Air Max 97 silhouette begins with a base of grayish-white mesh. White leather overlays undulate around the upper from the toe to heel in wavy strips. The white leather mudguard overlay sports grayish-silver old-school Nike logos. Hits of volt pepper the upper at the side-panel Nike Swoosh, rope laces, branding on the heel pull tab, and insoles add pops of brightness with every step. We see volt once again in the tinting of the full-length Air unit under the white foam midsole. The black rubber outsole has thick grooves for flexibility and black rubber pods for traction.
The aspect of this sneaker that we enjoy the most is the reflective overlays that course across the top of the upper, above the overlay that sports the non-reflective logos. The Nike Air Max 97 Volt Reflective Logo was released on September 23, 2021, for a retail price of $170.
