The Nike Air Max Plus 3 Aqua Gradient dresses the Air Max Plus 3’s technical silhouette in a vibrant colorway that creates a gradient of color across the upper. It's also the third generation of designer Sean McDowell’s recognizable sneaker.

Although the shoe boasts a fine mesh base, TPU panels on the heel create a study, aerodynamic appearance. A set of lines bends around the heel, creating the illusion of movement. The collar area features three pillow-like squares on each side that contribute to the shoe’s futuristic look. The aqua on the mesh upper fades from lighter to darker hues and stands out against the otherwise black base. Like other versions of the Air Max Plus 3, the "Aqua Gradient" iteration features sets of Air Max units, divided between the heel and forefoot.
