The upper of this running shoe begins with a base of tightly woven black mesh that allows for a lightweight stride and breathable overall foot comfort. Tonal TPU caging stretches from the midfoot to the toe cap and from the toe cap to the midfoot, but it does not quite meet. At this schism, a Volt-colored Nike Swoosh adorns the black mesh. An exaggerated xylophone black TPU heel counter locks in foot stability, while synthetic leather overlays form the mudguard and padded collar. The black foam midsole houses visible Tuned Air, or Air Max units, under both the heel and the forefoot. The black rubber outsole contains hits of Volt and red rubber in its multidirectional traction pattern.
