The OG Gold Bullet iteration of the Nike Air Max Plus features an upper with a base of lightweight, breathable, tightly woven gold mesh. Tonal synthetic leather forms the side panel mudguard. The toe cap is enhanced with a tonal synthetic overlay, and the heel counter is formed by goldish-tan suede. The iconic side panel cage in wavy strips of gold TPU provides signature style as well as foot support. A glistening black Nike Swoosh outlined in yellow adorns the side panel and complements the Tuned Air branding patch on the heel.
What impresses us most about this sneaker is the sole. A glistening black foam midsole houses pockets of visible air and incorporates a carbon fiber midfoot plate for arch support.
