Sized for preschool aged kids, the Nike Dunk High Fragment Beijing (2021) (PS) is a part of a "City Pack" collaboration between the iconic sneaker company and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s streetwear brand. Using the colorway first introduced in their 2010 "Beijing," these designers have abandoned asymmetrical mismatching in this iteration.
The Fragment X Nike Beijing Dunk High-Top (2021) for little kids features a wine-colored upper in premium tumbled leather. The overlays and side-panel Nike Swoosh are crafted in black tumbled leather that matches the laces and nylon tongue. The visible black sock liner mirrors the black rubber outsole with grooves and patterns for grip and impact absorption. The white midsole with its vulcanized capsule construction features the signature tonal stitching.
What our shoe experts enjoy most about this sneaker are the hits of branding. Nike branding is embossed on the outsole and adorns the black woven tongue patch in purple. The Fragment logo is stamped in white on the black lateral heel, and dual branding black print graces the lateral midsole.
