The Nike Ja 2 Nightmare (GS), in grade school sizes, is an athletic shoe defined by its bold University Red upper in textured leather, suede, and mesh at the toe box. The Nike Swoosh and Ja 2 branding accent the sides and tongue in Celestial Gold. The mid- and outsole combination pairs University Red and Black, while the rear heel shows ghastly hands reaching up in Jade Horizon and an eyeball.

Nike designed the Ja 2 on behalf of Ja Morant, player for the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies. As his second signature shoe with Nike, the Ja 2 Nightmare plays up a horror theme along with elements that are personal to Morant. The claw mark textured leather upper is a nod to Morant’s nightmarish moves on the court as a Grizzly.
