Following the success of the first Nike Air Zoom GT Cut sneaker in 2021, Nike Basketball decided to unveil the Air Zoom GT Cut 2 in 2022. The brand also chose to create a handful of special Air Zoom GT Cut 2 releases for different NBA players, with one of them being the Nike Zoom GT Cut 2 Devin Booker Keep It Tight designed for Devin Booker.

This Air Zoom GT Cut 2 had a grey textile upper along with green and olive streaks. It also had a Swoosh outlined in orange and an orange heel clip in the back to add pops of color. To show it was made specifically for Booker, it included tongue tags with "BOOK" and "Keep It Tight" on them, too.

Since this was a sneaker built for the basketball court, though, our experts agree it was the performance technology incorporated into the shoe that made it special. It featured a Nike React insole, a Zoom Air unit, and even an Air Zoom Strubel that made it extremely responsive for basketball players.
